Volunteering

Running an effective political campaign, especially one with a lean financial budget, requires a team of volunteers to
take on small and large tasks.  Bingle's campaign welcomes assistance in a wide variety of tasks areas, including:

* Fundraising        * Marketing        * Event Coordination        * Community Relations

Please contact Bingle to share the degree of your interest, (that is, how many hours you might be wiling to commit
during an average month) and indicate what tasks or topical areas are of particular interest to you.  Sharing a brief
statement of your past experience would also be helpful.  A time commitment of a few hours or several hours over many
weeks - are welcomed.  The campaign will contact you to discuss your interest.

Event Suggestions and Invitations

A successful candidate can never be at too many "meet and greet" events.  Bingle's campaign is dependent on your
eyes, ears, and suggestions for ideal community events where he can acquire a better understanding of issues and
where he can introduce himself to an increasing number of Columbus residents and business persons.

Please contact Bingle to share suggestions for events and to invite or urge Bingle to attend specific community events.
While it is impossible for Bingle to attend all suggested events, his campaign will acknowledge all suggestions and
invitations - especially to explore alternative opportunities when scheduling conflicts arise.

House Party

House parties are ideal venues for grassroots fundraising and candidate interaction with voters.  Bingle's campaign is
presently actively participating in meet and greet house parties.  Hosts traditionally will plan a party that attracts 15 to
20 guests.  At larger venues, guest lists can be expanded.  One goal of a typical house party is to introduce the
candidate to new people or to reaffirm relationships.  The primary goal is to raise funds for the candidate's campaign.
Bingle's campaign staff will work with you to discuss venue options, your prospective invitation list, the event
scheduling, and a fundraising goal.  A part of that discussion will be to agree to what details will be taken care of by the
campaign versus the host.

Please contact Bingle to share your interest to host a party to introduce him to your neighbors, friends, and business
associates.

Yard Signs

Yard signs have traditionally been an effective method for increasing the name recognition of a candidate.  Bingle's
campaign will be displaying yard signs in compliance with City of Columbus sign codes, after October 1.  Bingle's goal is
to have yard signs across the City to demonstrate a broad base of support.

Please contact Bingle to state your interest to display a "Elect Paul Bingle for Columbus City Council" sign in your yard this
October and early November.
